With fraud and identity theft becoming a larger and larger concern for everyday users of the internet, social media sites are unfortunately a gold mine for fraudsters and con-men. Here are just a few ways Incredi helps you stay safe:

  • We never show your email address - Instead users can send internal messages to you. These are safe, secure and private.

  • We never show your real name - At all times users are addressed by their usernames (aliases), and never by their real name.

  • Our profile pages are intentionally vague - Incredi isnt a social networking site, so we only display your homepage & age.

  • Powerful privacy controls - Unlike many of our compeditors, we provide very powerful privacy controls where you can limit your content to everyone, just people within your network or even just yourself!

  • We continually monitor our network - We look through our (anonymous) system log files for tell-tale signs of possible fraudulent activity. If found, our MediaMasters will fully investigate cases in order to protect our users, network and infrastructure.

 

Abuse

We have strict guidelines outlined in our terms of use (TOU) that strictly prohibit the Incredi system to be used as a battleground for 'griefers' and 'trolls'. We take a firm stance against the minority that disrupt the enjoyment of others and employ multiple methods to ensure any impact caused on the Incredi platform is quickly dealtwith and removed.
 
Security
Security is a major aspect here at Incredi. We developed both the infrastructure and the software used for Incredi.net from the ground up and perform regular security audits on our system to ensure our web technologies are protected against new and threats.
Incredi's parent company (AGCC Networks) which maintains Incredi's servers physically also maintain a physcialy secure presence at the data centre to ensure that no physical attacks are made to the Incredi server farm.
 
Support
Incredi's MediaMasters are on-call 24/7/365 to investigate issues on the Incredi plat4m. They will deal with abuse, content uploading, quota issues and more transparent issues such as site glitches. They also escalate more serious issues such as platform stability and isolated user issues to our development team and/ or our our network co-ordination centre (NOC).
